My Favorite Star Wars Books

As I read through the entire universe, one book at a time, I will be adding each book to this list in order of my most favorite to my least favorite.  I plan to have every book in this list, and as it grows I expect it to become increasingly difficult to place some books above or below others.  However, this will be my most honest attempt to convey my opinion of each book, nothing more.

  1. Darth Bane Trilogy
  2. Darth Plagueis (I’d probably say this book ties with the Bane trilogy, but I picked Bane as just above Plagueis because the Plagueis storyline is based on much of the Bane storyline.  So without Bane, Plagueis would have been a very different book.)
  3. Dawn of the Jedi: Into The Void
  4. Outbound Flight
  5. Republic Commando: Hard Contact
  6. Darth Maul:  Shadow Hunter
  7. The Clone Wars Novels (The 5 books based on the popular Cartoon Network Series)
  8. The Approaching Storm
  9. Knight Errant
  10. Rogue Planet
  11. Lost Tribe of the Sith Series (I enjoyed these books very much, but they were all short stories.  I felt they lacked a deep substance or storyline.  Had the series been a novel or a trilogy instead, I think it could have been higher on the list.)
  12. Cloak of Deception (my review is linked – basically I just thought this story was boring.)
