I actually purchased this book while at Pearl Harbor a couple of years ago. I read the first few chapters at that time, then put it down for a while and somewhat forgot about it. But going through the several stacks of books on my nightstand recently, I found this book and immediately remembered it.
I’ve decided that I will read a few chapters of this book every couple of weeks, perhaps in-between other stories that I pickup. Tonight I read 3 chapters, which accounted for the actual act of bombing Pearl Harbor in December of 1941, and the actions of the Japanese Navy in the months that followed. For a history lesson, this book does well at holding your attention.
